MANDATE:  

1. Be the presiding officer of the Sangguniang Bayan and sign all warrants drawn on the Municipal Treasury for all expenditures appropriated for the operation of the Sangguniang Bayan;
2. Subject to Civil Service law, rules and regulations, appoint all officials and employees of the Sangguniang Bayan, except those whose manner of appointment specifically provided in the Local Government Code of 1991;
3. Exercise the powers and perform the duties and function of the municipal mayor in cases of temporary/ permanent vacancy.; and        
4. Exercise such other power and perform such other duties and functions as may be prescribed by law or ordinance.

We, under the Office of the Vice Mayor envision an office with God fearing, efficient, honest and dedicated public servants.                                                             

MISSION:            

To protect/ promote the interest of all Sangguniang Bayan members both the regular and ex-officio members in order to effectively and fully utilize our talents and capabilities for the best service to our constituents in exchange for the trust and confidence vested on us through elections or appointments.
